My nephew is 11yrs old now and has played under Coach Hunter since he was 5yrs old!

My son started playing WHYS at 5 yrs old I coach now with Will and played high school and Div 3 college football. Wills teachings are dead on. Perfect for 1st timers or as previous clients know we play multiple times per year. Perfect practice/games for your small, Med, Large child. Everyone gets a chance, there are no favorites. Awesome starter league.

Will Hunter’s youth basketball program is simply the best around. Will focuses on the fundamentals but also places a strong emphasis on sportsmanship and teamwork. A+ in my book.

We previously signed our son up in the YMCA program for basketball and wanted to find a new program that was better organized and where he would learn and not just play. We could not be happier to make the switch and we are now signed up in flag football. My son looks forward to basketball and football at WHYS every weekend.

Will does a tremendous job getting all kids involved. The program stresses teamwork and enthusiasm. The 30 minute practice time before the games is very helpful with teaching the skills needed to perform as well as teaching about sportsmanship. I highly recommend this program.

Mr. Hunter is a consummate professional, committed to the social and moral enhancement of our youth. It really does not get much better than this type of organization. The coaches are also committed parents who clearly share coach Hunters vision. Many of the children in the program would find it difficult to be a part of other programs that might focus more on the ability of the child. This program is totally committed to encouraging and building up the child. My son has been involved in Will's league for several basketball sessions (and a flag football session). Will and his team run a great league. Even though I am a former hockey player I can see my son's growth as a basketball player each time he steps on the court. Thank you for providing him a league to play, learn and HAVE FUN. Greg Snell
